This collection spans a life from childhood alienation in England through the social upheavals of the War Years and the relative security of a later settled life in France. As a member of the Wheatsheaf set in Fitzrovia, he hung out with Dylan Thomas, George Orwell and Paul Potts and was well regarded as a Surreralist poet. His poem, 'Captain Busby' was made into a short film (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3f_5s7iKBeo). O'Connorwith and Quentin Crisp are included in the cast.
